PNEUMATOLOGY – THE STUDY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

INTRODUCTION

(The following is based on Mark Cambron’s, ‘Bible Doctrines’.)

Pneumatology is derived from the Greek word pneuma, meaning spirit, wind, or breath. Therefore, pneumatology is the doctrine of the Spirit: the doctrine of the Holy Spirit.

The doctrine of the Holy Spirit is indeed a Bible doctrine. The Bible is the only source from where we can secure any information concerning Him. The Christian Faith alone has the Holy Spirit.
