Hope As An Anchor Of The Soul (New Year)

hope as an anchor of the soul, eternal security, new year 2018, assurance of salvation

As we move into 2018 many are hoping for a better year than 2017. Many had a very hard year, even excessively hard. Yesterday I was at a public hospital to see a doctor (thyroid) and get medicine repeats. While at the first stage of the process I got talking with a doctor also waiting in the process. He used to work at that particular hospital but had moved on. As we spoke I asked him what his thoughts were for the new year. He immediately answered that he saw nothing ahead that he felt that he could put his hope in. He is not optimistic about the future.

And in one way or another we will all be looking ahead and wondering what life will be like in 2018, or wondering what will happen in our personal circumstances in the coming year. And with so many changes happening so quickly and unexpectedly in the last 20 years or so. It’s hard to be able to predict what will happen in the coming new year. Life has become very uncertain, very unpredictable, not as it was 30-40 years ago.

What many found to be secure 30 years ago in businesses and careers are no longer secure today. From a spiritual perspective I see a very positive side to the modern insecurity of the temporal life. When businesses and careers were secure people who were resisting God found a comfortable place to hide from the Lord in those ‘secure’ environments. But as our world has so turned from the Lord and each generation turned from Him further than the previous generations. Our world has become more and more insecure as it’s become more and more ungodly. And as the Lord has been left out of modern society more and more, He has not allowed such people, such nations, to prosper as once they did when they acknowledge Him, and the Christian Faith as the one truth faith from Him. Now it is becoming far harder to find the world a distraction ‘from the Lord’. In all levels of society people are very insecure regarding their future, regarding the new year. And that is good! People mustn’t be able to find ‘security’ in the world!

I’m hoping that this will have a positive cause in some irreligious people turning to the Lord. And some religious, lost people, turning properly, Biblically to the Lord. As only the Lord can provide absolutely perfect security regardless of our circumstances. That which the Lord wants to give each of us, our world at it’s best cannot come close to providing…

Hope … As An Anchor Of The Soul

While still in this life, in this world, God’s children have hope, perfect security from God regarding their temporal life, as well as their eternal souls…

Hebrews 6:18-20
18  That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
19  Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
20  Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

As an anchor secures a boat or ship from drifting, so an individual being ‘in-Christ’, being Born Again’, is perfectly secure regarding their eternal soul’s security. And each child of God may have this hope keep them perfectly secure in this world. Even should chaos be happening around them, because their security, their hope is in Christ, their hope cannot be taken away, it cannot be lost! It is in Hebrews 6 promised to be both, “sure and stedfast”…

“Sure”: As in ‘certain’ or ‘unfailing’

“Stedfast”: Will not abandon the child of God before they are living in eternity, at Home in Heaven with the Lord.

This is where our hope for 2018 must be! In Christ! Not in ‘favourible circumstances’ or in ‘things working out better for us in the New Year’. There is no Biblical reason why 2018 will be good as far as temporal things are concerned. Our rebellious societies / cultures give every indication of breaking down even further than they have at this point in time! Get hope from the ONLY source that guarantees hope … Christ!

In Christ’s Hand, In The Hand Of The Father

Those who are truly Christ’s, those who have actually been born again, follow Him. Their life is not their own, they follow their Saviour’s example that He made while in our world…

John 10:27-30
27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30  I and my Father are one.

Christ’s redeemed, His sheep, are absolutely secure in His Hand. As secure as if they were already with Him in Heaven! There is no more secure place than in their Saviour’s Hand! And if that was not enough, the Lord Jesus further comforts His sheep with the fact that they are also in the Father’s Hand! Language cannot express the extent of such security! Words fail us to adequately describe the absolute security of God’s children! And though they will have trials and struggles while still in this sin damaged world, their souls are perfectly secure in Christ for all eternity.

Those Who Know And Keep Christ’s Commandments Are Those Who Are Secure

1 John 2:3-6
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

It is one thing reading, and learning of the perfect security of God’s children. It is another to have such hope, such certainty in one’s heart and mind, giving daily comfort. The irresponsible child of God will not experience the comfort of hope and certainty as they should in their daily walk. The apostle John writes of the eternal security of the child of God who keeps the commandments of Christ faithfully. And this promised certainty strengthens with time. Where on going obedience to the commands of Christ becomes the life of the child of God. Where their life is permanently changed / shaped by the commands of Christ. And (v5) as the, “love of God”, ‘matures’ / ‘is perfected’ in them. Love for God, and then love for their fellow man. These will become blessed indicators of true life with Christ as a child of God. And (v6) they will live according to the same values that the Scriptures teach us that Christ had. Witnessing such change in one self will encourage that one that they have in reality been secured in Christ.

The Inner Working Of The Holy Spirit Gives God’s Children Eternal Security

Here we see that it is the whole Triune Godhead that is involved in the child of God’s hope, their eternal security. Here we are taught the part that the Holy Spirit has…

Romans 8:4  “That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

It is through the indwelling Holy Spirit that the obedient child of God is enabled to live righteously, according to the normally impossibly high standards of God’s law. Which happens when they, in obedience to the leading of the indwelling Holy Spirit, walk after Him instead of after the sinful passions of their flesh…

Romans 8:13-17
13  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

V15/ It is by the indwell Holy Spirit that God’s children will love Almighty God as their Father.

V16/ They will know the witness of the indwelling Spirit that thy are indeed children of God.

Again: it is through obediently allowing the indwelling Holy Spirit to lead them that another form of ‘hope’, ‘eternal security’ is realized / known in God’s children’s personal experience. That, “all things work together for good to them that love God…”

Romans 8:28  “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

The apostle Paul, after teaching the amazing truths of this chapter in Romans describing the incomparable life of the Spirit led, and Spirit enabled child of God, sums up…

Romans 8:31-32
31  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Folks, why be mindlessly foolish by looking to the world, our cultures, and life’s fickle circumstances in the coming 2018 for hope in the coming months of 2018?! Look to the Lord each day, week and month for all your hope in life! Our rebellious world and its ways is going to pass away forever soon (1 John 2:17). Only the ways of the Lord will continue into eternity. Live with the Lord and get used to living according to His values and ways now! And know His hope as an anchor through 2018 and for the rest of your life in this temporal world!

1 John 2:17  “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Assurance Of Salvation

BE SURE TO LOOK TO THE LORD TO OPEN THESE TRUTHS OF HIS TO YOU…

_____

The spiritual birth brings about a complete change in all who are born again. They will change dramatically! In some ways immediately, but they will be changed in every area of their life as time passes…

2 Corinthians 5:17  “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

So how will you know when you have been born again?

1. BY THE INNER WITNESS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

witness of the Spirit, assurance of salvation, love for God as Father

Romans 8:9 – Every child of God has the Holy Spirit dwelling / living within them…

Romans 8:9  “but ye are not in the flesh, but in the spirit [BORN AGAIN], if so be that the Spirit of God dwell [LIVES] in you. now if any man have not the spirit of Christ, he is none of his [not born again].”

It is by the indwelling [LIVING INSIDE] Holy Spirit that those who have been born again receive their primary [MAIN] assurance that they are indeed [DEFINITELY] children of God, that they have indeed been born again…

Romans 8:14-16
14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby [THROUGH WHOM] we cry, Abba [Father], Father.
16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

VERSE 14 teaches us that those who are actually led by the Holy Spirit are sons (or daughers) of God. They are led to be repentant toward God, and have whole hearted faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21; 8:37). How do children of God really know that they are led by the Holy Spirit? And not assuming that He is leading them. The rest of this presentation gives specific details of how those who have been born again will know that they are indeed born again, and how to make sure that they are continually being led by the Holy Spirit…

VERSE 15 tells us that by the Holy Spirit God’s children will identify the Lord as their divine Parent – their Father – with loving affection. And so part of the Spirit’s witness that they have been born again is that He brings them to love Almighty God as their Father. If you have been born again you will regard the God of the Bible as your loving Father. This affection will grow over time, but you will really care about pleasing Him through obedience to Him, as instructed through the Bible.

VERSE 16 assures us that the Holy Spirit witnesses with God’s children’s spirit that they are the children of God. This verse speaks of an inner assurance that the Holy Spirit gives them that they have been born again. By His inner witness those who have been born again will know in their hearts and minds that they are secure in Christ – that they have been born again.

2. BY THEIR KEEPING (KNOWING AND OBEYING) CHRIST’S COMMANDMENTS

And as we are going to be seeing the Scriptures teach that they will change dramatically as time passes (See 2 Corinthians 5:17 above)…

2.1. THROUGH THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

led by the Holy Spirit,

When someone is consistently yielded to God their life will continue to change dramatically. as they learn their Saviour’s will, through His commands in the Bible, they WILL change in adding to their lives all that they learn that a child of God is responsible to do. They will turn from all that they learn in the scriptures that their Saviour commands them to stop doing.

1 John 2:3-6
3 ¶ And hereby [and this way] we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth [knows and obeys] His word, in Him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as He [JESUS] walked.

Keeping the lord’s commandments as taught in the Scriptures, as led by the Holy Spirit, WILL affect every part of those who have been born again’s lives (2 Corinthians 5:17). As we would expect the Holy Spirit WILL lead the obedient child of God to learn their Saviour’s commands (Romans 8:14): To those given directly by Him (Matthew – John), and to those He has given through the Holy Spirit to His disciples / apostles (John 16:13), which are recorded in the New Testament epistles for us today in Acts – Revelation (See also Acts 2:42). Some examples of Christ’s commandments…

BIBLE STUDY

The command to study…

2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

The Bible was given by God to teach His children EVERYTHING they must know about their spiritual life with Him in this world. It is only in the Bible that God’s children will find the commandments of Christ (Matthew – Revelation) that they are required to keep…

2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Bible study will, for example, enable God’s children to see from Scripture exactly how to be born again, and how to personally know assurance of salvation. How to make absolutely certain that their souls are indeed secure in Christ…

2 Peter 1:10  “Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence [BE THOROUGH! BE RESPONSIBLE!] to make your calling and election sure [YOUR SPIRITUAL BIRTH – DON’T ASSUME THE SPIRITUAL BIRTH!]: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:”

And rather than the sinful world around them, their cultures and other cultures, shaping them (their hearts and minds); the reading and careful Spirit led study of God’s Word will shape their hearts and minds to value all that their Father values, and be against all that their Father is against.

Romans 12:2  “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Is this a reality in your spiritual life? Are you studying God’s word relying on the Holy Spirit to teach you so that you will accurately know God’s will. And therefore know that what you are doing, how you are living, is according to His commands. As we have seen from 1 John 2:3 this is one of the ways that we can know if we have been born again. The Lord help you to be severely honest here for your own eternal good!

TIME MANAGEMENT

1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of GOD.

Ephesians 5:15-16
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Colossians 4:5 ¶ “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.”

1 Corinthians 10:31 gives the broad [WIDE] principle of doing, All [THINGS] to the glory of God.” This command doesn’t leave out any area [PART] of our lives. In everything that we do, we are to do those things, “to the glory of God.” Even the ordinary things of eating and drinking, to take care of our bodies, are to be done, “to the glory of God.” In Scripture we learn exactly how to do all the different things, in the different parts of our lives to the glory of God. Nothing is left to human opinion, or tradition!

Ephesians 5:16 AND Colossians 4:5 both command God’s children not to waste time. Their purpose in this world – i) ‘taking the Gospel to the lost’, and ii) ministering among fellow children of God – are their life’s priorities from their Father (Mark 16:15; Ephesians 4:11-16 specifically v16). God’s children are therefore to use their time wisely…

“Redeeming the time”, is using our time well / wisely, not wasting it on things that don’t matter for eternity. The Holy Spirit will teach us, from Scripture, which things are eternal, and that matter. He will teach us to highly value eternal matters as the Lord does. And exactly which things we as individuals must be involved in with our limited time each week, and each day. And so certain things will have to go out of our week’s schedule, while other things will need to be added to our week’s schedule – all according to the Holy Spirit’s leading. all according to the commands of Christ to His children in the Bible. Commands that those who have been born again will highly value.

GODLY FRIENDS

2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial [SATAN]? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
2 Corinthians 7:1 ¶ Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

V14/ God’s children are commanded not to be, “unequally yoked [JOINED] together with unbelievers.” Being, “unequally yoked”, would be joined in the same burden as two oxen yoked together in plowing a farmer’s field. God’s children are not permitted by the Lord to join with, “unbelievers”, (any people not born again) in a common cause. Some examples would be joining together in business, in close friendship, in marriage, etc. Where each would be an influence to the other.

7v1/ The commandments of Christ, and promises for ‘obedience to His commandments’, should give those who have been born again very strong motivation to keep themselves holy / pure in the eyes of their Father. Who is always with them and sees everything that they do.

The Lord even commands those who have been born again to, “withdraw”, [SEPARATE] themselves from others who have been born again, who continually walk / live in disobedience. Disobedience relating to moral righteousness, as well as doctrinal purity (“tradition which he received of us”)…

2 Thessalonians 3:6 ¶ “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition [doctrine / teaching] which he received of us [THE APOSTLES].”

Our New Testaments later became the written, “tradition”, which Paul was referring to in his epistle to the Thessalonians. And called the, “apostles’ doctrine”, in Acts 2:42. The, “tradition”, the “apostles’ doctrine”, are what God’s children need to study very carefully in order to know the commandments of Christ. So that they know exactly what their Saviour commands them to obey! and those who have been born again will be given an increasingly urgent desire, through the indwelling Holy Spirit, to learn Christ’s commandments in order to know how to obey Him – to know how to please Him.

And when their lives are lived according to all of Christ’s commandments – commandments that they know, understand and live daily. That kind of spiritual development, we have seen, will give them reason to be sure that they know Christ. That they know Him as Saviour, which together with the inner witness of the Holy Spirit, will give wonderful peace and comfort to them.

IN PUBLIC LIFE, AS WELL AS IN PRIVATE

i. PUBLIC LIFE…

Colossians 4:5-6
5 ¶ Walk in wisdom toward them that are without [NOT BORN AGAIN], redeeming the time.
6  Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Another ‘commandment of Christ’ God’s children will ‘keep’ (know and live according to) relates to their walk with the Lord while among those not born again. With unsaved family, at ‘work’, ‘college’, ‘school’, etc.

Walking in wisdom towards, or with, those who, “are without”, [those who have not been born again] redeems time. Meaning that, as written in verse 6 – which describes a wise, time redeeming walk / life in the company of those who have not been born again: 1. That our words always be always, “with grace” – ‘kind’ even when undeserved; 2. “Seasoned with salt” – non-provocative. Don’t offend carelessly. And so keeping / building good casual relations with the lost, simply by being gracious and wise before them when they see you in public. So that the ‘door’ to sharing the gospel is always kept open. Where ungracious speech, and behaviour, closes the ‘door’ [‘DOOR’ OF FUTURE POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY] for God’s children to be able share the Gospel [HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN] with them. This is another way that someone who has been born again will demonstrate / show that they have been born again. (Remember, they don’t get saved / born again BY keeping Christ’s commandments, but SHOW that they have already been born again.)

ii. PRIVATE LIFE…

God’s children have a personal walk / life with the Lord…

Romans 8:9-16
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 ¶ And if Christ be in you [YOU HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN], the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are [EVERYONE WHO IS] led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness [GIVES TESTIMONY] with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

9/ Everyone who has been born again has the Spirit of Christ (Holy Spirit – see also v11) literally living within them.

V14/ The major purpose for the Holy Spirit living within those who have been born again, is to give them personal guidance – “led by the Spirit of God”.

V12-13/ Those who have been born again MUST NOT live after (according to) their sinful flesh (the sinful lusts / passions of their flesh). 1 John 2:15-17 gives a break-down of the flesh in describing those not born again, collectively called, “the world”.

1 John 2:15-17
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world [LITERALLY THOSE NOT BORN AGAIN IN THE WORLD].
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

V15/ Describes how our world (those not born again) are living in conflict with God.

V16/ Describes the world of unsaved (not born again) describing them by their fleshly corruption: 1. “lust of the flesh” – sinful passions of their bodies; 2. “lust of the eyes” – sinful passions for what they see others have; 3. “the pride of life” – sinful pride

V17/ The reality, from the Lord’s view point, of how the sinful ways of the world of those not born again will be brought to an end. i.e. There is no future for those living according to their sinful flesh. There will come a time when the Lord will bring our world, and its sinful ways to an end, literally. Unlike those who have been born again, and who live after the will of God, will live with Him, His way, forever.

3. SUMMARY

Together with the inner witness of the Holy Spirit with all who have been born again, IS THE ‘GROWING’ WITNESS of the inner working of the Holy Spirit IF the individual child of God walks after the leading of the Holy Spirit. Who will teach them to not walk after their sinful flesh, but to rather walk after the inner leading Holy Spirit. Who will lead the obedient child of God in ALL areas of their lives. Leading them to obey ALL OF THE COMMANDS OF CHRIST given in Scripture. The commands of Christ that the child of God will learn to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to correctly understand. This passionate striving to obey the Lord in all things, to obey all of His commandments, will be another testimony that they are indeed (definitely) born again.

THE SPIRITUAL LIFE CHART

The Spiritual Life; Being Led By The Spirit; walking after the Spirit; walking after the flesh; assurance of salvation

The Spiritual Life chart gives a more detailed description of the Spiritual Life as taught in the Bible. This chart pictures and summarizes the spiritual road ahead. The Spiritual road with the Lord that the Holy Spirit will strive to lead / guide you into. And knowing the details of the spiritual life will greatly benefit you in knowing what to expect, and enable you to co-operate with Holy Spirit. The chart may be a bit complicated to some people when first looked at, but one of the realities of the spiritual life is that nothing of value is learnt, or achieved overnight. We have to put the necessary time and effort in to making good progress in our spiritual knowledge and personal development.

As an introduction…

The chart is divided into two sections. The right half is the spiritual progress that the Holy Spirit will be attempting to lead each child of God through, in order to get them to spiritual maturity – to be more and more like Christ. The left half is the carnal spiritual life of the child of God who does get saved / born again, but is very inconsistent [NOT FAITHFUL] in their spiritual walk. I.E. not careful to make sure that they, for example, start everyday focused on the Lord before going to their daily responsibilities. Which is what Paul rebuked the Corinthian church believers of being, when he told them that they should be teachers of God’s Word, but they were still spiritual babies who still needed to be taught the basic truths of the faith (1 Corinthians 3:1-3 KJV). These are the typical, “lukewarm”, believers that Christ warns about being the usual, the common, spiritual condition of God’s children in these last days of the Church before He returns (Revelation 3:15-16 KJV).

CHRISTMAS 2017

Christmas 2017, The Birth Of Christ, Born in a manger, Christmas

PICTURE 1

Luke 1:26-38
26  And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27  To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
28  And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29  And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30  And the angel said unto her, FEAR NOT, MARY: FOR THOU HAST FOUND FAVOUR WITH GOD.
31  AND, BEHOLD, THOU SHALT CONCEIVE IN THY WOMB, AND BRING FORTH A SON, AND SHALT CALL HIS NAME JESUS.
32  He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33  And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34  Then said Mary unto the angel, HOW SHALL THIS BE, SEEING I KNOW NOT A MAN?
35  AND THE ANGEL ANSWERED AND SAID UNTO HER, THE HOLY GHOST SHALL COME UPON THEE, AND THE POWER OF THE HIGHEST SHALL OVERSHADOW THEE: THEREFORE ALSO THAT HOLY THING WHICH SHALL BE BORN OF THEE SHALL BE CALLED THE SON OF GOD.
36  And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
37  For with God nothing shall be impossible.
38  AND MARY SAID, BEHOLD THE HANDMAID OF THE LORD; BE IT UNTO ME ACCORDING TO THY WORD. And the angel departed from her.

PICTURE 2

What a godly women! Mary must have known that she was endangering her imminent marriage to Joseph by her getting pregnant with the Lord Jesus! She would have realized that she would be frowned upon by others for being pregnant outside of marriage! Yet she yields whole heartedly to the Lord to be used by Him in this incredible way. And she trusted the Lord to take care of her future! The picture illustrates Mary’s attitude of being completely yielded to the Lord and His will for her.

Luke 1:34-35
34  Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Luke 1:38  “AND MARY SAID, BEHOLD THE HANDMAID OF THE LORD; BE IT UNTO ME ACCORDING TO THY WORD. And the angel departed from her.”

PICTURE 3

Understandably Joseph is not impressed that his fiancé has been found pregnant before their marriage. The Lord does not leave this godly man in the dark…

Matthew 1:18-25
18  Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19  Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
20  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22  Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24  Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25  And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

PICTURE 4

This is what Christians are celebrating each 25th December. Not the actual day that the Lord Jesus was born, but the day that Christians have set aside to yearly thank the Lord for the incredible gift of His only begotten son, to offer us a way for each of us to be reconciled to Himself.

What a humble way the Lord Jesus came into this world! Born in a manager, an animal feeding trough! Not even in a house, but in makeshift accommodation among cattle!

Luke 2:1-7
1  And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
2  (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
3  And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
4  And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5  To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6  And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7  And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

The Lord giving His Son to die for our sins shows us very clearly how serious He took the problem of our sin! No wonder He requires that we take the Lord Jesus very seriously too in order for us to benefit, to be born again, through His Son! …

THE CENTRAL PICTURE

The reason why the Lord Jesus came – to suffer on a cruel Roman cross. Though far harsher was the fact that the Lord Jesus took the sins of the whole world – from Adam to the very last person who is to be born into this world before God destroys this sin broken world, and we are all into eternity! Either in Heaven or in hell. The sinless Son of God took that unimaginable amount of sin upon Himself, and suffered beyond any person’s comprehension, to provide the only way for potentially everyone to be born again (have a literal spiritual birth into the kingdom of God). BUT we have to take Him very seriously through the required kind of faith in His death, burial and resurrection…

John 3:14-18
14  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15  THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.
16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.
17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

The Lord Jesus tells Nicodemus, and us, plainly that we have to believe in Him to be born again (John 3:3-6), to, “have eternal life” (v15-16 above).

The Holy Spirit led the apostle Paul to share the same Gospel with different wording to help us appreciate the KIND OF BELIEF that the Lord Jesus was calling for in John 3…

Acts 20:21  “Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, REPENTANCE TOWARD GOD, AND FAITH TOWARD OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.”

“Repentance toward God”, meaning that we have to change our thinking towards God, our attitude toward Him, to that of the highest respect / regard.

AS WELL AS…

“Faith toward out Lord Jesus Christ”, which is whole hearted faith in Christ’s death (for our sin), burial and finally His resurrection (Romans 10:9; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV).

When the Holy Spirit witness’s such repentance toward God, and whole-hearted faith in the Lord Jesus Christ He brings about that person’s salvation, their spiritual birth into the kingdom of God…

John 3:5-6
5  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

And lastly, the blessed Spirit of God will confirm the spiritual birth of each individual that is born again by His inner witness with their Spirit…

Romans 8:14-17
14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Meaning simply that He brings all whom have been born again to know with by Him that they are secure in Christ. That they have been born again. They have complete peace about the matter.

YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN

BE SURE TO LOOK TO THE LORD TO OPEN THESE TRUTHS OF HIS TO YOU…

_____

INTRODUCTION

It is ALWAYS VERY important to go beyond our opinion about eternal matters – about God and our salvation. But few doctrines (Bible teaching) affects us as much as the teaching on ‘Salvation’. If my understanding about ‘Salvation’ is wrong in the eyes of God, then I will not have Him to be my Father in this life, and will not be accepted into Heaven after this life! And I will be thrown into hell, the lake of fire, forever! (Revelation 20:15 KJV).

We MUST take the Lord, and our eternal souls, as seriously as the Lord demands. Matthew 7:22-23 is just one example where the Lord warns us of the reality that many of the people who claim to believe in Him, don’t believe in Him as He requires so that they may be saved / born again. If we don’t make sure that our belief, our faith, in Him is acceptable to Him. Then we most likely WILL be among those whose belief is insufficient according to the Lord!

Let’s have a look at Matthew 7:22-23…

Matthew 7:22-23
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess [SAY] unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Here the Lord Jesus is looking ahead to the day of judgement. Where He tells us that there will be MANY active church people that He will be rejecting from entering Heaven, because He doesn’t know them. They were never saved / born again! Even though they claimed to prophecy / preach, “in thy name”, cast out devils, “in thy name”, and do many wonderful works, “in thy name”. The Lord is not even speaking about the many millions of people who attend church, but never serve him!

How incredibly tragic! All because they were careless in their personal responses to Him reaching out to save them! They did not take the Lord as serious AS HE REQUIRES THEM TO! And so they did not take their eternal souls AS SERIOUS AS HE REQUIRES THEM TO!

As we present ‘How To Be Born Again’ in these studies, from the teaching of the Lord Jesus in John 3. Ask the Lord to help you understand ‘how to be born again’ AS HE WANTS YOU TO UNDERSTAND!

From the Lord Jesus in John 3 we are taught by Him…

1. MAN’S NEED: – We MUST All Be Born Again To ‘See’ And ‘Enter’ The Kingdom Of God

John 3:1-5
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

John 3:7 “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”

In verses 3, 5 and 7 the Lord Jesus tells us that we must be, “born again”. And that unless we are, “born again”, we cannot, “see”, or, “enter”, the, “kingdom of God”. Therefore it is vital that we get to know what the Lord Jesus meant when He said that we must be, “born again”…

The Lord Jesus, starting where Nicodemus’ understanding of ‘birth’ is – the physical birth. He uses the physical birth to introduce the spiritual birth needed to, “see”, or, “enter”, the, “kingdom of God”

John 3:5-6
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, [TRUELY, TRUELY] I say unto thee, [TO YOU] Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 that which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John 3:8“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit”.

The Lord tells us that the second birth is a ‘spiritual birth, of the Spirit‘ – the Holy Spirit (v5, 6 and 7). Just as we have all had a ‘physical birth, OF physical parents that gave us life in this physical world. We must also have ‘a spiritual birth, OF the Spirit of God’, to give us spiritual life, eternal life, with God.

In verse 5 the Lord Jesus explains the spiritual birth by starting with the physical birth which Nicodemus understands (v4 above). Nicodemus would know that at birth the ‘mother’s water breaks’ and helps push her baby out:

V 5/ “…, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Then again in verse 6 the Lord again speaks of both the physical and spiritual births using a more straight forward discription:

V 6/ “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

And so just as our physical births have given us physical life in this world, and life with family and friends. A spiritual birth into the kingdom of God will give us spiritual life with God. A spiritual life that begins the moment we are born again. And so the relationship with God, as Father, begins in this life, and not only after we leave this world and go to Heaven.

1.1. The Spiritual Birth Is Brought About By The Holy Spirit

The miracle of the spiritual birth is brought about by the Holy Spirit…

Once a person is, born again”, or, “born of the Spirit”, they are brought into the, “kingdom of God”. Where those who have been born again are called, “the children of God”

1.2. The Spiritual Birth Makes Those Who Have Been Born Again Children Of God

Not only is the Holy Spirit involved in the spiritual birth, but He also brings those who are born again to know that they are, “the children of God” (v16 below). And to love God as their, “Father” (v15 below)…

Romans 8:15-16
15 for ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye [you] have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby [THROUGH WHOM] we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

We are then, through the spiritual birth brought into, “the kingdom of God”, which is the ‘family of God.’

If we must be born again in order to become sons, or daughters, of God, how does one get born again? What must we do?

2. GOD’S PROVISION: Christ Died On The Cross For Man’s Sin. So That Whosoever Believes In Him Should Not Perish, But Have Eternal Life With God

John 3:14-18
14  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so [IN THE SAME WAY] must the Son of man be lifted up:
15  That whosoever [WHOEVER] believeth [BELIEVES] in Him should not perish [DIE IN THEIR SIN], but have eternal life [BE BORN AGAIN INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD].
16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever [WHOEVER] believeth [BELIEVES] in Him should not perish [DIE IN THEIR SIN], but have everlasting life [BE BORN AGAIN INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD].
17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18  He that believeth [BELIEVES] on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath [HAS] not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

1 Peter 3:18  “For Christ also hath [HAS] once suffered for sins [ON THE CROSS], the just for the unjust [ALL PEOPLE], that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh [ON THE CROSS], but quickened [RAISED FROM THE DEAD] by the Spirit:”

The Lord Jesus speaks to Nicodemus of His (Jesus’) coming death on the cross. The Lord tells Nicodemus that He must be lifted up on the cross to die for our sin (See also 1Peter 3:18).

The Lord uses the crisis of the Israelis in the wilderness to help Nicodemus – and us – understand how we must look to the Lord Jesus by faith to gain eternal life (be born again). We must look to Him by faith, believing that He died on the cross to bring us to God, or to reconcile us to God (1 Peter 3:18)…

2.1. The Brass Serpent Illustration

As recorded in Numbers 21, Israel were complaining against the Lord and Moses for the conditions that they were living under. And so the Lord sent poisonous snakes among them to punish them for their wicked dissatisfaction of His provision. And it is recorded how many of them were bitten by the snakes and died. The punishment brought them to realize their sin, and they confessed to Moses that they had sinned against the Lord. And asked Moses to ask the Lord to take away the poisonous snakes. The Lord’s answer to them was that Moses must make a brass snake which he must put up on a pole. So that when anyone was bitten they could look at the brass snake and be healed by faith.

The Lord could have simply removed the snakes, but it seems that the Lord wanted them to exercise faith in Him. And so they were given a very unusual way of dealing with the deadly poisonous snakes, and their bites. And so, when any of them were bitten they had the choice – look to the brass snake and believe God that they would be healed, or don’t look at the brass snake, in faith, and die. This took faith in what God said. They had to believe God that looking at the brass snake would heal them. And so those that believed God looked to the brass snake and were healed. But those that did not look at the brass snake, when bitten, were not healed and they died. It was that simple.

The brass serpent lesson very well illustrates how we must be born again. We are born again by looking to the Lord Jesus Christ, dying for us on the cross, by faith. That just as the bitten Israeli was to look at the brass snake by faith to be saved from certain death. We are to look to the Lord Jesus, lifted up on the cross and dying for our sin, by faith. And just as the Lord, through Moses, told the Israelis that looking at the brass snake would heal them. the Lord Jesus is telling us, in the Bible, that with the same kind of faith as the Israelis, we must believe in the Lord Jesus dying for our sin on the cross.  Believe in Him so that we would be saved, that we would be born again into the kingdom of God. That we would be brought into the Family of God.

2.2. What Does The Lord Mean By ‘Believe’?

Sometimes when we use the word ‘believe’ we mean that we have ‘a little confidence’ in the ‘thing’ believed, or the ‘person’ requiring our ‘belief’ / confidence. Our ‘belief’ is not very strong because we are not completely convinced to have stronger ‘belief’, or stronger confidence. In another situation, or with someone else, when we use the word ‘believe’, we are talking about complete confidence. Where, in our minds we have no doubt in the situation, or the person. What kind of ‘belief’ does the Lord require of us for us to be born again?

The Lord used Phillip to explain the required ‘belief in Christ’ this way…

Acts 8:35-37
35  Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36  And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37  And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Only someone who has been born again may be baptized, and so Phillip told the eunuch,If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. His belief in Christ had to be strong, serious belief, with all of his heart!

THE LORD LED THE APOSTLE PAUL to preach belief / faith in the Lord Jesus Christ adding the term, “repentance toward God”, to make certain that those to whom he preached to, properly understood what ‘believing in Christ’ / ‘having faith in Him’ means…

Acts 20:20-21
20  And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
21  Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, AND faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

He taught that we must BOTH, ‘repent toward God’, AND have, “faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” If we only want to be ‘saved’, ‘born again’, AND ARE NOT PREPARED / WILLING to live a life of being under God’s authority, then we will not be saved, or born again! “Repentance toward God”, means changing our thinking, our attitudes, towards Him. It means being willing to yield our wills under His authority. If our ‘belief’, our ‘faith’, in Christ is weak, is not committed, then we will not be born again!

2.3. Those Who Do Not Come To Christ VS Those Who Do

Let’s now look and see how the Lord Jesus said the same thing in different words, to Nicodemus. Explaining the internal challenge we all face before we can know the reality of being saved / born again…

John 3:19-21
19  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

2.3.1. Those Who Do Not Come

V19/ Christ is the, “light”, that, “is come into the world”, to show us how life with God works. Most people’s problem is that they do not want God’s perfectly pure, and holy ways. Most rather choose their own evil independent ways.

V20/ The reason for most people hating, and rejecting Christ is because they know that their life styles will be rebuked by Him. And they are not willing, or not able, to turn from their sinful ways (Luke 13:24)…

Luke 13:24 “Strive to enter in at the strait [NARROW, DIFFICULT] gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

2.3.2. Those Who Do Come

V21/ Those that, “doeth truth”, come to, “the light [CHRIST]. They are the people who get saved / born again! These are truthful because of the successful work of God in them…

2.3.2.1. Through The Witness To God Inherent In Man [PUT IN MAN BY GOD] (Romans 1:18-32 KJV).

Romans 1:18-21
18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

i.e. Just as the Lord built in man the inherent [BORN WITH] knowledge of how to breath. The Lord also built in man the inherent knowledge of His existence.

2.3.2.2. Then Through The Inner Witness Of The Holy Spirit (John 16:7-11 KJV).

John 16:7-11
7  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter [HOLY SPIRIT] will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8  And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9  Of sin, because they believe not on [IN] me;
10  Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye [YOU] see me no more;
11  Of judgment, because the prince of this world [SATAN] is judged.

Here the Lord Jesus tells His disciples of the Holy Spirit Whom He would send into the world after He left the world. This coming of the Holy Spirit happened on the Day of Pentecost. See Acts 2. One the Holy Spirit’s ministries was to work in the hearts and minds of those who have not been born again. To convict them of, “sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment”.

2.3.2.3. And Lastly, Through The Co-Operative Witness Of The Spirit Sent Human Witnesses / Preachers, AND The Inner Working Of The Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:6-9)

1 Corinthians 3:6-9
6  I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7  So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8  Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
for we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

The Lord has chosen to work with His children in ministering to others. In the case of a child of God sharing / preaching the Gospel, the child of God gives the Truths from the Scriptures about the need to be born again, and how to be born again. And at the same time the Holy Spirit works in the heart and mind of the person being shared the Gospel. Ultimately it is the inner working of the Holy Spirit that convinces the lost person to believe in Christ – IF they choose to respond to the inner working of the Holy Spirit and believe in Christ.

Some are successfully wooed to believe in Christ with all their hearts. Or, as in the words of Paul: some are brought to be ‘repentant towards God, and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.’ These are saved / born again.

3. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Everyone must make their own choice regarding the Lord Jesus. Do you believe the record in God’s book that everyone MUST be born again by looking to the Lord Jesus by faith? And will you trust Him to save you and make you a son or daughter of God? You too must make your choice. A choice that will have consequences for all of your life in this world and in eternity to come!

The Bible says that we must in faith, “receive Him” (John 1:12), or “believe” in Him (John 3:14-18), in order to become a son or daughter of God (John 1:12). I ask you now, has the Spirit of God been working in your heart and mind to believe in the Lord Jesus with all of your heart? This is not casual / careless / uncommitted belief / faith in Christ. It is belief with all of your heart that the Lord requires…

Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Will you privately tell God that you truly believe in the Lord Jesus to save you from your sin?

AND THEN …

Ask the Lord to help increase your faith, and to lead you to live a life that is consistent with your being a son or daughter of God.

If you have believed in the Lord Jesus to save you and make you a son or daughter of His. Read your Bible each day asking the Lord to open His Truths to your understanding. Teaching you what it is to be a child of God in your daily life. If you are English speaking I strongly recommend the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible as it has not been changed as the modern English bibles have. And if you are Afrikaans then I highly recommend you read the Ou Vertaaling [OLD TRANSLATION] (1953) as it too is a complete bible without changes as other modern Afrikaans bible have been changed.  Whatever your language is ask the Lord to guide you to a good Bible. One of the tests of a good Bible is whether the whole of 1 John 1:9 is in that Bible. It should be like the following with the Trinity teaching in it…

1 John 5:7  “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

Ask the Lord to lead you to a local church where you will be taught God’s Word (the Bible) as it should be taught. Keep looking to Him to guide you to His truth. Never be shy or afraid to question Bible teachers and preachers. Only God is without fault, and He wants you to ‘know’, ‘understand’ and ‘live’ HIS TRUTH.

At this website you can read and download Bible Studies to help you establish a solid Bible foundation in the Christian Faith. Naturally the next study you should do is ‘Assurance Of Salvation’ available from the Kingsway Bible School website as well. Then, I also highly recommend the eBook, “The Spiritual Life Is Life WITH God”, that has been prepared to make clear what the Bible describes as the daily life with God. And how the Holy Spirit will continue to lead you throughout your life if you let Him. Which will prevent you from being misled by one of the endless wrong beliefs being taught today. This eBook is available from the Home page of this Bible school website.
